All lessons are taught by me, Rachel Shipley – a UK-qualified primary teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience. I specialise in reading and writing including spelling, grammar and phonics.

My lessons are aligned to the English National Curriculum which is taught in English primary schools.

Each lesson includes:

  • A spelling, punctuation, and grammar (SPAG) task
  • A guided writing activity linked to a high-quality children’s book and writing genre
  • Homework to reinforce learning and extend progress

Lessons are 30 minutes.

All lessons are taught live via Google Meet. Parents will receive an automatic email with the joining link and instructions after booking

Yes. Many families choose to book the same time each week to support consistent progress and routine.

Yes. Lessons can be rescheduled through the booking system.

Updates are shared through Google Classroom and I am always available to answer questions.  Feedback is provided regularly so you can clearly see your child’s progress

Yes. All lessons are one-to-one, allowing your child to receive personalised support and make strong progress.

I teach children from around the world, including Europe and Asia.

You can book your first lesson and see how your child responds. Many families then choose to continue with regular weekly lessons.

Lessons can be booked through the online booking system. You can choose a time that suits you and book regular weekly lessons if you wish.
